Welcome to The Sand Bunker—a four-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath townhome in Barefoot Resort & Golf, with room for up to 12 guests and all the makings of your family’s favorite week of the year.

Bringing everyone together shouldn’t mean spending your vacation squeezed into one room.

Across three levels, The Sand Bunker gives your group space to gather and places to retreat. Grandparents, parents, kids, and cousins can share a vacation while still finding a quiet corner, an afternoon nap, or a little breathing room. The bunk room adds to the kids’ excitement, while three full bathrooms and a half bath make getting a full house ready for dinner a little easier.

Downstairs, the open kitchen, dining, and living area is where the everyday moments become the ones you remember. Pancakes before the beach. A table full of takeout after a long day in the sun. Everyone settling into the comfortable living room for a movie that half the family won’t stay awake to finish.

There’s a well-equipped kitchen for meals together and a washer and dryer for the practical side of traveling with a family. You can unpack, settle in, and make yourself comfortable for the week.

A PATIO YOU’LL CLAIM ON THE FIRST MORNING

With comfortable seating, a ceiling fan, and views across Barefoot’s golf practice area, the screened patio might become your favorite room in the house.

It’s where you slip away before everyone wakes up. Where you finally get a few chapters into that book. Where the grown-ups linger after the kids have gone inside, talking without anyone checking the time.

BEACH DAYS WITHOUT MAKING EVERY DAY THE SAME

Spend the morning building sandcastles, collecting shells, and watching the kids discover that the ocean never gets old. During its operating season, Barefoot’s beach shuttle serves the Townes at Barefoot and takes guests to a public beach access in North Myrtle Beach—another option for getting your crew to the coast.

Prefer a pool day? Enjoy access to the shared pool and hot tub. Golfers can plan their rounds at Barefoot’s four championship courses, while everyone else takes the day at their own pace.

The Sand Bunker sits within the resort community, a drive from the ocean. Shuttle service is seasonal and follows the resort’s current schedule; golf is booked separately.

YOUR EVENINGS CAN BE AS FULL AS YOUR BEACH DAYS

If you’ve never stayed in Barefoot, here’s the part you’ll love: you have a spacious place to come back to, with an entire evening’s worth of possibilities just beyond the resort.

Across the Intracoastal Waterway, Barefoot Landing brings together waterfront dining, shops, live entertainment, and family attractions. Take everyone to LuLu’s, share seafood at Flying Fish, grab burgers at River City Cafe, or settle in at Taco Mundo or Crooked Hammock Brewery. Start another morning with breakfast at Blueberry’s Grill.

Make a night of it with a show at Alabama Theatre or a concert at House of Blues. Let the kids explore Alligator Adventure, challenge themselves at LuLu’s ropes course and arcade, or pick out a vacation keepsake at Build-A-Bear.
